Just a quick email to say thank you to everyone who have been such a help trying to track down the Car Quilt, we now know where it is!! and it will be back here in it’s home in mid November all ready to display at our quilt festival on 12th February 2017

HELP!! Help us find our Car Quilt

Hi Everyone

We are hoping that social media, word of mouth etc. will be able to help us, we have ‘lost’ our much loved Car Quilt, it was donated to us by the makers, one of whom has passed away very suddenly, with the proviso that we should loan it to any Guilds, Groups etc to promote their exhibitions
It was loaned out about 2 months ago and unfortunately hasn’t been returned, we are sure there is a perfectly good explanation, but if anyone has seen it on display somewhere or knows where it may be, could you let us know please, we would be grateful

Free Christmas Class at Sawmillers

Hi Everyone
So most of us love anything Christmas, we at Sawmillers are holding a Christmas Wallhanging Class, and instead of just using a panel surrounded by blocks and borders, ours will have Easy Attic Windows, so gives the illusion that you are looking through the window at a Christmas Tree!!

Apologies for the poor photographic reproduction but suffice it to say it looks stunning, it can be embellished with the accessories we have here at Sawmillers but can also have little lights attached to it too, and you will learn all about this in the class

THIS IS A FREE CLASS BUT THE KIT FOR THIS PROJECT MUST BE PURCHASED FROM Sawmillers Quiltery and is only $89.99, The panel is pre cut for you, so you only have the ‘windows’ and border to cut out and we should get this almost finished in the 1 day class
Unfortunately there are limited numbers of panels so registrations will be on a first come first serve basis with a 50% Deposit to hold your place
