Classes and New Fabrics

13 May

This lovely quilt is ‘Lulu’s Garden’ to make in class, Dianne Barnden shows you not only how to piece, calculate setting triangles but also applique using either needle turn or fusible methods, for more details go to the class details on this page, begins 3rd September.

This  ‘Star Beginnings Quilt’ is on display here at Sawmillers the next course begins 4th June and is the second one we have had as it is so popular,

This ‘Square Strips‘ table runner is also here class begins 13th August and the final class 27th August, call in and see all these samples, plus much more.

This is the latest range from Fabric Freedom called ‘Deco Dance’ and is inspired by  Clarice Cliffe and we know how popular she was in the Art Deco period, anyway we not only have the blue but the orange range too, I gather this sold out at Tote and Gloat, but we have it at Sawmillers and very reasonably priced as well.

This is the newest range from Ro Gregg at Northcott, it’s called ‘Pretty Faces’ and is delightful, there are blenders to go with the all the fabrics, this is a ‘Quilt for a Cure‘ fabric.

Isn’t this the sweetest little thing, I call her ‘Miss Pricklepin‘ she has been visiting us for over a week now.

These two chickens are permanent residents at Stonestead, Kevin lets them out for a run every few days and I can hear them calling to each other from inside Sawmillers, I think they are lovely, Barney Official Greeter and 2nd Assistant and Archie 3rd Assistant (Unpaid) don’t seem to worry them in fact I think Archie feels they are his friends…

Call in and see us here at Sawmillers, look at the class samples on display as well as the scrumptious fabric we have just received.

Until next time, Happy Quilting
