2016 Sawmillers Classes with link!!

30 Jan

Hi Everyone

So in the excitement of going to hear Kaffe Fassett speak I forgot to add the link to the class list so here it is, go to the Classes header & you will see what we are doing this year, having said that more will be added throughout the year

Have a good read & think what you might like to do, don’t forget the classes are held in the 1865 Cottage so lots of atmosphere & if Kevin has the pot belly lit lots of warmth in the winter too!!

2016 Stonestead Outdoor Quilt Festival

19 Jan

Hi Everyone
Happy New Year to you all, although it seems a long time since New Years Eve!! to all those who have returned to work we hope you had a great break and you are replenished & ready for the coming year!

As always we are in the final stages of organising the Outdoor Quilt Festival on 14th February 2016, if the weather doesn’t behave it will be on 21st February 2016, so now is the time to finish off those projects & get them registered, we as a group of volunteers love to see what comes in to hang on the lines & I know that there are so many patchworkers & quilters who gain lots of inspiration from what they see on the day

The forms can be downloaded on the Stonestead site & there is a link on this website too

We shall also have fabric mainly end of bolts greatly reduced for you to buy as well as the usual display of yummy fabrics, don’t forget we have over a 140 bolts of French General & you can stock up on the latest Aurifil thread too

If you need anymore details just phone, email or call in to Sawmillers & we shall help you

Happy Quilting everyone
