Hi Everyone,
I expect by now everyone will have returned from Symposium in Taupo and we hope you had a great time and have returned very inspired from seeing the exhibits and attending classes.
It has been a hectic time at Sawmillers with the new computer up and running and finally we now have all the emails addresses that hadn’t been transferred over from the previous one! A bit nerve wracking though.
We have a lovely range of French General in now ‘La Belle Fleur’ on large bolts so there is plenty for you to make your project with including a beautiful floral for borders this comes in the traditional French General Red we all love but also in a delicious Blue.
Here you can see the fabrics made up in the quilt that is being taught at Sawmillers later this year.
The other new fabric we have just received is ‘Noteworthy’ by Sweetwater this is so new I haven’t got images of it yet, but you can go through to the Moda site & see it, the cream on cream is beautiful
The classes are going really well and at the moment we have a Wait List for the Stack n Whack class as this is now full, don’t forget we have Chris Kenna teaching her Mariners Compass, New York Beauty & Beyond Meander ( Machine Quilting) classes, so go through to the class list and have a browse, these are all reasonably priced classes and you get to spend the day stitching in the 1860 cottage with the Pot Belly Stove to keep you nice and cosy as well as the famous Devonshire Teas that you can order for your lunch.
So until next time, Happy Quilting, and keep an eye out as we have lots of exciting new events to tell you all about.
