New Fabric & New Idea!

We really hoped you enjoyed the shop hop, it is an ideal way to get to see other shops in the Lower North Island & we really enjoyed meeting you all

Here are the latest Orientals to arrive at Sawmillers, we know there is a great following out there so we shall be increasing our stock as new fabrics are released

We were wondering if anyone is interested in making the ‘Pemberley’ quilt designed by Katrina Hadjimichael, there has been a great response to her recent visit to NZ, & we have been offered the pattern
We would like to start a Pemberley group, this would consist of meeting once every 4 – 6 weeks weeks probably on a Sunday morning for a few hours so that we can all discuss what fabrics we are going to use, various techniques and stitch, we are able to get the pattern kit which consists of

1 pkt            ½” Hexagon pre-cut papers and acrylic template

1 pkt            1” Jewel pre-cut papers and acrylic template

1 pkt            ¾” Circle pre-cut papers

1 pkt            4” Rounded Dresden pre-cut papers and acrylic template

1 pkt            1½” Chubby Dresden pre-cut papers and acrylic template

1 pkt            2” Half Circle pre-cut papers and acrylic template

1 pkt            Curved K.H Dresden pre-cut papers and acrylic template

1 pkt            Pointed K.H Dresden pre-cut papers and acrylic template

The total cost for the pattern kit is $206.99 & whilst I hear you all gasp, we don’t intend to start until February 2017 & we can arrange for the patterns to be paid off between now & then, which makes it more achievable, could be a present from the family for Christmas???
