Hi Everyone,

All good intentions go awry sometimes and August has been no exception!

We have another member of staff here at Sawmillers which has meant less time to update this blog, her name is Poppy and she will be Baileys assistant, I am unsure at this stage if she will be on the payroll, as this will depend on her greeting abilities, suffice it to say she is a delight and is just a three and a half month old Bichon Frise, as the time passes I shall pass on more information about her, but call and see her as well as Bailey, and  have a look at the lovely fabric we have as well as the class samples displayed.

I have been a pupil in Chris Kennas’ Mariners Compass class, we have already had the first of three lessons and I have really enjoyed it, I just love fabric and to see how you can get such great effects using the values needed is great, I can’t wait for the next lesson so am a foundation piecing convert!

Pictured above is the Christmas Capers class sample, this is on display in Sawmillers and has become a very popular class, you learn so much from Dianne and it isn’t as difficult as it looks, come along and have a look and register for the class, there are only four lessons.

Why not go through to the class link and have a look at the remainder of classes we have available, there have been more added including a labels class.

So until next time, Happy Quilting
