A New Posting At Last!

7 Aug

Hi Everyone,

Big apologies this time, I am feeling very ashamed as I haven’t done a posting for such a long time, with canine sadness and hospital stays everything went very ‘pear shaped’ for awhile. Now everything is back to normal and Sawmillers was looked after beautifully by Julie and Carol, who were great stand ins for me.

As you can see by the  header we have new Official Greeter and 2nd Assistant, Bailey, whilst not a substitute for dear Barney, he is a terrific character non the less, he loves meeting visitors to Sawmillers and whilst the teeth are currently like’ needles’ I am assured these will be replaced by normal ones soon!

Onto more quilty stuff, we have a lovely range of Christmas fabrics from Fabric Freedom, I am sure you all know I am a great fan of this manufacturer, their fabric is a wonderful quality, the clarity of the print is excellent and the colours are always beautiful, I have put a picture to show the range, so whilst it is frightening to think about Christmas, it really isn’t that far away, particularly if you want to complete festive projects in time.

The other exciting arrival are the Cosmo embroidery threads from Lecien, for those who have visited us here, you will have heard me rave about these threads, we have a selection of stranded and also the 2 strand on spools ( saves splitting the strands, great idea) for those who follow Rosalie Quinlans designs in Australia and Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs in USA you will know that these threads are their most preferred.

We have just received another consignment of X Blocks in all the sizes,Dianne Barndens demonstration proved very successful, we have lots of patterns too for you, and don’t forget we have a great selection of patterns, from easy to more advanced.

I think I had better go, Bailey, needs a little walk, it’s amazing how like toddlers these 13 week old puppies are!

Until next time, Happy Quilting.
