Roses, Roses Everywhere.

14 Jan

Hi Everyone,

‘Roses’ designed by Jackie Robinson for Maywood is finally here, Kevin and I ordered this range at Houston Quilt Market and it really is stunning.

There are 48 bolts in the range, so you are able to select from the main fabrics, red and black as in the first picture or purple and cream as pictured above, and then you can select all your blenders and borders to go with it. Sew Easy.

This range just shouted to us at Houston ‘Buy Me” and we were very pleased to speak with Jackie and she has been very helpful since that time too, isn’t email a wonderful tool?

We have all the supporting patterns here at Sawmillers and I am in the process of making the shop sample which will hopefully be on display at the Stonestead Outdoor Quilt Festival, if you don’t want to wait that long to see it,come in and see the display in Sawmillers, we have fat quarters already cut.

Don’t forget we also have Acrylic Templates and the all the X Blocks range too, we also have as well Best Press, this spray is an ideal alternative to spray starch, it doesn’t leave any residue on your fabric and has a lovely scent too.

This lovely flower has just bloomed up here at Sawmillers and for those of you who want a Barney, 2nd Assistant and Official Greeter update, he is here at Sawmillers and looking just a little ‘roly poly‘ so it is now post Christmas diet time.

Oh, yes the other news on the canine front is that Cooper in the USA is now potty trained, and has been to the Doctor for a boy puppy operation as well as micro chipping a would you believe it teeth extractions too,so he is all organised now and lots of sighs of relief over there.

Don’t forget to check out the Stonestead blog, it has all the latest details and registration form for the Outdoor Quilt Festival on Sunday 7th February and also Sawmillers is open on Wellington Anniversary Day

Until next time and Happy Quilting
