Barney

1 Jul

I cannot believe that for a second time in such a short period I have to make another sad announcement.

Unfortunately our beloved Barney, has gone to join Archie. He was my Mum’s constant companion and shadow.  Words cannot express how much he will be missed.

Yvonne, I am so sorry. He was such a cheery little chap. Hard to think I was patting him so recently. It was the only quilt shop I have ever been in (in many countries) where one was greeted by such friends as those two. Such happy memories. Margaret

You have been in my thoughts all day Yvonne after you phoned me. I have just finished re-reading “Rainbow Bridge” which Barbara (from CQ) had given me after Amber passed away… and then I read Sam’s posting above – tears are just pouring. I feel your loss and know you will be feeling incredibly sad and lost. Barney was a dog-in-a-million and loved by many. Heartfelt hugs to you. Love J xox

Dear Mum it will be hard coming home and not be greeted at the door as we have been for so many years.
Barney was your friend your partner and your defender, your dog.
You were his life, his love, his leader.
He was yours faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You have yet again given your best friend the best gift you could give PEACE.

      Dear Claire,
This is beautiful, thank you, & you are so right he was my best friend & his love was unconditional, I miss him so.
But Bailey will meet you when you come & visit & I am sure will soon become a great fill in for Barnes
      Love, Mumxxx
